Wouldn’t It Be Cool If we learned from HISTORY and we appreciated immigrants?
WIBCI: we didn’t forget that unless our direct ancestors were part of a tribe on this continent, we are all descended from immigrants or people who were brought here as slaves?
Seems the most pride should come from the tribes, and the least pride should sprout from the ancestors of people that took everything from them, no?
The current descendants from immigrants that wish us to hate new immigrants, seem to have forgotten history.
I would take a brand spanking new immigrant over a current descendant for the following things they do better:
- Being a neighbor; most likely here is better than there, and appreciation makes for wonderful neighbors
- Food; no way you cook better than them
- To work with; they have grit, determination and have overcome odds, you were probably just given shit and feel entitled
- They have roots elsewhere, hopefully somewhere where greed prevails less than here
Immigrants rule.
